Positive: It’s a handy spot in the town of Mirbat, yet also right by the sea. Very spacious room with seating area. There is a great seafood restaurant next door where we had the best meals we had during our two weeks in Oman. A reasonable price for a decent place.

Negative: The pool had no water during our stay.

Positive: The location is great directly on the beach, you have a beautiful view, a few steps to the best restaurant in town and a diving shop. The staff specially Abdallah is great, very helpful, super proactive, knowledgeable and acting quickly. The highlight was a 2.40m bed: a lot of space and the mattress is very comfortable. There’s a lot of space in the room.

Positive: This resort has huge potential. Recently taken over by new owners who are passionate about updating everything. We were upgraded to a beach facing room which was very good. Very spacious and comfortable. The bed was "huge"... (I think it's called an Emperor bed, great for very tall people). The position , overlooking the beach and sea is perfect. The resort looks much better in the evening with all the lights around the pool area. The manager, Abdul, could not do enough to make sure we had a pleasant stay and took on board all our comments for improvements. He was very friendly and took time to resolve my mobile phone issue which I really appriciated. Only downside was that the pool was out of commission, but they were beginning work to resolve this... The fish restaurant next door is very convenient and has an excellent menu at reasonable prices, recommended. In summary, the resort does need some TLC but the management is addressing these issues. I would recommend upgrading to a beach front room for the extra space and views.

Negative: The swimming pool is out of commission.

Positive: Dont' get tricked but the outside first impression It's a new business, they try to do their best to make it work. Big bungalows with front porch, clean, comfortable, fairly priced, and with nice view facing the sea. They also delivered some serious breakfast right in the room. Overall, pretty decent service vs money, nothing to complain

Negative: The pools were off but it's still work in progress, so probably will be up and running soon
